An Inspiring Evening of Leadership and Community
Last Wednesday night, On the Way gathered at Holy Trinity Church for an inspiring evening celebrating women of faith who lead with courage, purpose, and grace. 🌿✝
Together with around 12 participants, we heard fascinating testimonies and wisdom from our speakers. We explored how Christian values can shape leadership, turning conviction into action and influence into service. 🌍💫
Our Esteemed Speakers
🔹 Moderated by Revd Canon Dr Daphne Green (Holy Trinity Geneva)
🔹 Featuring:
– Elisabeth Brenda Sekaggya, Human Rights Officer, United Nations; Co-Founder, Phenomenal Woman Global
– Susan Isiko Strba, Counsel, Geneva Centre on Knowledge Governance; Co-Founder of International Lawyers and Economists.
A Contemplative Start
The evening began with a contemplative Taizé service. We enjoyed an inspiring homily and beautiful music that set a reflective tone for the night. 🎶
A Warm Fellowship
After the service, we shared a warm Italian dinner, catered by King Curry. It was a delightful time of vibrant fellowship and connection. 🍝💬
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, contributors, and all who joined us for an evening filled with wisdom, authenticity, and hope.

The Importance of Community
Building a strong community is essential for spiritual growth. At Holy Trinity Church, we strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued. We believe that together, we can support one another in our faith journeys.
Engaging with Local and Global Outreach
Our church is committed to active engagement in local and global outreach initiatives. We encourage everyone to participate in these efforts, as they provide opportunities to serve others and share the love of Christ.
The Role of Women in Leadership
Women play a vital role in our community. Their leadership enriches our church and inspires others to step forward. We celebrate their contributions and encourage more women to take on leadership roles within our church and beyond.
Conclusion
In conclusion, our recent gathering was a beautiful reminder of the strength and resilience of women of faith. We look forward to more events that foster connection, growth, and service.
Let’s continue to support one another and grow together in faith.
