On the Way — Water Security in a World of Competing Demands

At our most recent On the Way gathering on 27 May, we explored one of the defining challenges of our time: water security in a world facing growing pressure from climate change, inequality, public health concerns, and geopolitical tensions.
Through thoughtful discussion, prayer, and fellowship, we reflected on three central questions:
💧 Is water a resource to manage or a right to protect?🤝 Can cooperation prevail in a world of scarcity and competition?🌍 What kind of society emerges from how we treat water?
We were especially privileged to hear from our international speakers, Dr Connie Allsopp and Alice Bouman-Dentener, who offered powerful insights on the links between water, health, diplomacy, sustainability, and global cooperation.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, to our wonderful (new) cater – Pad Thai - for the delicious Thai meal, and to everyone who contributed to such a rich and meaningful evening.
